CAPSES primary mission is to maximize the potential of individuals with disabilities by advocating for them in public policy, and promoting high-quality instruction, guidance, therapy and staff development.  In keeping with our mission, we aim to provide resources beneficial to our members.

One such resource is "Intervention Central," a website that provides free resources to educators on behavior intervention.  Resources include defusing and de-escalation strategies, communication, self-management, motivation, rewards, challenging students,  calming agitated students, useful teacher commands, bully prevention, schoolwide classroom management and behavior intervention apps.
