Annual Legislative Day

Legislative Day will be held in February of 2020 and is an opportunity for CAPSES Member Schools and Agencies to meet in Sacramento with the California Legislature. During this event, CAPSES meets with Members of the California Legislature to discuss key special education and budget issues, share concerns and impart their expertise on issues related to private special education. Nonpublic School and Agency advocates play a key role in educating our communities and local legislators about why Nonpublic Schools and Agencies are essential to the continuum of special education in California.
