Annual Conferences

Each year, CAPSES holds Administrator Training Day, Legislative Day and an Annual Conference.  As a CAPSES Member, administrators and staff receive a sizeable discount on registration fees.

Administrator Training Day and Legislative Day are held each in Sacramento, CA.  Sessions include public policy, and state and federal legislation, updates from the California Department of Education, and Teacher Credentialing.   Nonpublic school and agency administrators are encouraged to attend. 

The CAPSES Spring Conference is a day of dynamic content combining the most up-to-date information and best practices.  The top leaders from the frontlines of special education speak on topics including administration, curriculum, behavior, and therapy.  Nonpublic school and agency administrators and direct staff are encouraged to attend.
