CCTC released a new round of grants for teacher development. Residency models are shown to produce better prepared and more stable educators in our classrooms. Additionally, there is a marked improvement on student learning when their teacher was developed in a teacher residency program. The CCTC grants are designed to help schools develop innovative programs to develop new teachers in partnership with local universities and colleges.
