Gender Spectrum, located in San Leandro, CA is an organization dedicated to creating a "gender inclusive world for children and youth," and offers resources and training on the topic of gender identity including transgender students and school bathrooms.
One such resource, “Transgender Students and School Bathrooms: Frequently Asked Questions” is designed to address concerns and provide positive responses for educators and is based on programs successfully implemented by school leaders across the country.
According to the Gender Spectrum website, the FAQ is “endorsed and supported several national organizations; the American School Counselor Association, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.”
