The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is a useful administrator and teacher resource for assessments and other helpful info.  The web page on the California Department of Education's (CDE) website offers Smarter Balanced Assessments, Summative Assessments, Interim Assessments and the Digital Library. To receive information and updates, subscribe at the California Department of Education Assessment Development and Administration Division by sending a blank email to caaspp@cde.ca.gov.

The CAASPP replaced the Standardized Testing and Reporting system (STAR) at the start of the 2013-14 school year.
