The California State Auditor's office released a report on their review of Assembly Bill 114 (AB 114), which the governor signed into law in June of 2011.  AB 114 transferred the responsibility of providing mental health services to students through individualized education programs (IEPs) to local educational agencies (LEAs).  The California State Auditor Fact Sheet outlines the key findings and key recommendations for the State's use of mental health funds and provision of mental health services to students.
