The Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Public Policy Dissertation Fellowship
The Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Public Policy Dissertation Fellowship was founded in 2009 to honor the important work that Wayne began by awarding grants to students pursuing doctoral degrees in education leadership at California State University, Sacramento. The outstanding reputation of Sacramento State University - College of Education continues to be built upon the professional competence and high standards displayed by alumni in the course of their professional practice. The fellowship was conceived to ensure that future alumni pursuing doctoral degrees in educational leadership will be prepared to advance and honor the important work in which Wayne so passionately believed in.

Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Leadership Donor > $1,000 and over
Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Leadership donors are generous and loyal supporters of doctoral education leadership. Membership is bestowed upon donors who give $1000 or more in the current fiscal year. Your leadership gift will be appropriately acknowledged in all publications, most notably the Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Fellowship Annual Report and on our website. Leadership members are invited to be special guests at the Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Fellowship Reception. The Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Fellowship Committee will also keep you informed about what’s happening with our fellowship award winners through regular updates.
Fellow > $500 - $999
Donors who give at least $500 in the current fiscal year are committed to helping doctoral students continue their education so they may become educational leaders of the future. Your leadership gift will be appropriately acknowledged on the Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Fellowship web page, mostly the Wayne Kaleolani Miyamoto Fellowship Annual Report. Through their support, Friends of the WKM Fellowship make a positive impact on the lives of students pursuing doctoral degrees in educational leadership.
