Mishelle Ross, EdD., BCET is President of AHEAD, Inc. or Advancing Higher Education and Development, a nonpublic agency and consulting organization that works with public, charter and private school students (K-12 and beyond), providing special education services as well as training to teachers, counselors, and administrators. They provide speech and language, occupational therapy, educational therapy, counseling, and behavior as well as professional development.
Since 1999, Dr. Ross has also served as an instructor at UCLA Extension. Prior to founding AHEAD, Inc., she served as Vice President of Educational & Therapeutic Services at Exceptional Children’s Foundation Kayne Eras Center from 1999 to 2011. During her time there, she oversaw four significant programs: School Counseling Program, Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services; After School Program, and Department of Mental Health Outpatient Services program.
