About ACES Academy

In 2004 ACES Academy was established  as a nonpublic school for students in grades 1st through 12th grade and transition with autism and other special needs.  Located in the heart of the Hillcrest region of San Diego, ACES Academy provides opportunity for academic functional, independent living, behavioral, community based instruction, vocational and social skills programs.  ACES Academy uses methodologies including Applied Behavior Analysis, TEACCH, PECS, Discrete Trial Training, and Direct Instruction to support our students.   ACES Academy serves students from various school districts located within the boundaries of San Diego, County.  In July of 2008, ACES Academy moved to a newly renovated facility that has a sensory room, washer and dryer, large kitchen, computer lab, and several rooms for instruction.
