About Capitol Elementary
Capitol Elementary is a Kindergarten through eighth-grade school offering specialized academic instruction, as well as a Functional Living Skills program. Classrooms are organized by grade, cognitive level, mental health and behavioral needs. Capitol Elementary provides a highly structured learning environment with a positive school-wide behavior system focusing on student success. Students have access to centralized library and computer lab, sensory area, indoor gymnasium, multipurpose room, and playground. Classrooms will contain individual and shared student desk with learning centers for small group instruction. Teacher to student ratio is 1:15 with 3 Educational Aides in the classroom.
