About Verdugo Hills Autism Project

Verdugo Hills Autism Project (VHAP) is a private, nonsectarian agency that provides developmental and psychological services to children and their families since 2002. VHAP endeavors to provide a high standard of care to a complex and diverse population. We strive to maintain a multicultural as well as a multilingual staff in order to serve the diverse communities. Languages spoken among our professional staff include English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog and Armenian. Services are funded by school districts, regional centers and parents. We are a state-certified, nonpublic agency, allowing us to provide services to public school districts. Services provided to school district-referred clients are usually provided at school sites and/or in the homes of the families we serve. Services funded by school districts are always provided pursuant to an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Our vendorization by Southern California Regional Centers allows us to provide services to regional center clients in their homes and community based on each client
